Glare is not good Feng Shui. It doesn't matter if the glare is a natural light or a man-made light, glare makes us want to move away. The energy of glare is the same energy as knives, jagged pieces of broken glass, and really loud shouting. Cringe, wince, or dodge - none of these are comfortable.
