A spiral staircase drives chi like a screw down and into the ground. If you have one in your environment, for the safety requirements of Feng Shui, you want closed risers and rectangular treads, not open risers with pie-wedge treads. This spiral nightmare has closed risers but pie-wedge treads. Great to have when earthquakes shut down elevators in 30+ story buildings, but awful just to be in the low level frequencies exhibited here.
