FengShuiFunOnTheRun.com: Water, like chi, flows according to lines of least resistance. As it is pulled by gravity, it goes around the high places. It may meet an obstacle like a pile of rocks and have to build up pressure to override it, but it WILL override it eventually. Water only flows in a natural straight line when it is falling off a cliff in a waterfall, and at that point it is changing not only direction, but also altitude. The chi is sweeter where the land wraps around the water than where the water wraps around the land, so choose "bay" over "peninsula" when choosing a site.

FengShuiFunOnTheRun.com: No one was ever told to stand in the corner to celebrate anything; they were put there as punishment. Corners block flow, bringing everything to a vortex, like a funnel, only there is no exit, only stagnation. The best thing you can put in a corner is a living plant, and second best is a silk plant because their energies move upward and outward. Look at the corners in your environment. Are they cram/jam/stagnant or are they open and flowing? Consider how the energy in your life is flowing nowadays. Then make a Corner Chi tally sheet for Jammed vs. Flowing and see which wins in the energy flow in your life. Make needed adjustments accordingly.

FengShuiFunOnTheRun.com: The mind thrills to a distance view so much that you won't have a chance to see what's right in front of you until your brain has savored the flavor of the faraway, and then exhaled, and looked near. Oh! There are chairs down there. And a gate. And an olive orchard. AND I'm leaning out of an open upstairs window to see all this... Well, you have to start somewhere, so you might as well scope out your environment far to near. It is a breathtaking rush to go so far and snap back so fast. Remember this is what your mind likes and provide it as often as you can.

When you live in the shadows of sky pokers, there will always be an awareness of the jab. Whether you suffer the poison arrow from a church steeple, radio tower, or even a dead tree, the impact will always be like a tiny electric shock. Poison arrows drain your chi. If you can't block your view of them, put a crystal between you and them, or a plant that points lots of tiny fingers back at the offending projection. Think evergreens like juniper, cedar, and pine. You can also wear a hat with a broad brim, which works like a patio umbrella would work at these outdoor tables. You can wear the crystal on a chain so it hangs over your heart.

FengShuiFunOnTheRun.com: While the piece of wood used in this staircase has been made to look liquid, it also looks tortured. This is not how trees grow. If this is one piece of wood that has been polished to star in this show, then the show is a tragedy. Trees grow reaching up and out to the sun and sky. The energy they bring lifts up and out too, but here the energy just aligns with the waterfall staircase and pours down. The wall of stone "dams" the flow of water, dragging the energy down too. The guard panels of glass/plexiglass are slick and sharp and transparent and of no help in lifting anyone or anything to the second floor. Cool to look at. Not cool to live with. Created by and for a man. Ask me how I know.

FengShuiFunOnTheRun.com: When given the option, always choose the entire body, and not just a head. Especially avoid heads that have - or seem to have - plants growing out of them. As within, so without will impact your body with the mirrored manifestation in your own head. Either there will be a disconnect between the mind and the heart, or the thought processes will become a tossed salad. This includes paintings of just the head, busts of famous folks, and even taxidermy. Go for the whole body, not just a random body part. No hands, feet, or ears laying around in good Feng Shui zones.
