Feng Shui Fun On The Run

FengShuiFunOnTheRun.com: Women of this world shoulder a tremendous burden. These statues are caryatides - daughters of Atlas. The seven heads in the windows above are also daughters of Atlas - they are the Pleiades. They, and their mother were pursued relentlessly by Orion, and so Zeus placed them in the sky, above the shoulder of Taurus the Bull, where they were safe. Their siblings were left on Earth to shoulder the weight of matter.

Their father, Atlas, doesn't hold up the Earth, he holds up the Sky. But the women hold all the weight upon their shoulders for keeping families together. They are usually given no legs, kept forever hostage wherever they are placed by the male in power. MANY women feel this. Live this. And it is not always just women. The caryatides (kār-YAH-tuh-DEEZ) carry the load. There comes a time as the Wheel of the Year turns to the harvests that Mother Nature says she is done, and if you need anything, speak to Father Nature, the Green Man. We are at that point in the year. Is it time for you to shrug?
