Mirrors that confuse the mind also confuse chi. Are there more than two doors in a row? Four consecutive and identical doors in a row on one wall begin to look like a hotel hallway, offering no "way in." The mirror reflects the window at the other end of the hall, adding to the "no way out" energy. The round mirror reflects a poison arrow. The little shelf has sharp corners and supports. The floorboards race the chi away and the mirror races the chi back. And all of this is happening at the front door of this home. How do you get to where the people are? When there is so much redirection and shut down of flow, no one goes anywhere, including the chi. People who live here struggle with every effort they make to go anywhere, even to another room, much less to town.
